Abstract
How to make sm buffer for phage dilutions
Dissolve following components in 300 mL of MilliQ water:



AFinal concentrationFor 400 mL
NaCl100 mM2.34 g
Tris base50 mM2 g
MgSO 4 •7H 2 O8 mM0.79 g

Adjust pH to 7.4 – 7.5 with HCl

Top up the volume to Amount400 mL with MilliQ water

Autoclave at Temperature121 °C for Duration00:15:00

Cool down to room temperature
Filter-sterilise through 0.22 µm membrane
Store at room temperature
