Abstract
Quantification of p62-positive inclusions in the rodent brain
Scan the 5um sections immunostained with guineapig anti-p62 (1:500, Progen #GP62-C), mouse anti-α-synuclein (1:500, BD Biosciences #610786) and TH (1:1000, Calbiochem #657012) using ZEISS LSM 980 with Airyscan 2.
Visualize the images with ZEN 2011 software (Zeiss, Germany) and determine one representative coronal section of the brain region of interest.
Determine the total number of p62-immunopositive Marinesco bodies (nuclear inclusions)
and Lewy body-like inclusions (cytoplasmic inclusions) falling into each category (Syn-positive or Syn-negative) in that representative section.
