Abstract
This protocol describes QMask hemispheric separation.

QMask Hemispheric Separation
Open the Qmask tool and click “pick XML” and open the QuickN XML file generated in QuickNII.
Enter the appropriate coordinates from the QMask Coordinates file.
Click “Destination” and navigate to the QVN\Mask folder. Click “Go”.

The mask output should be a black and White PNG that looks something like this:

Mask files shouldautomatically come with the appropriate naming convention with _mask at the end. Example: NG18I_s061_mask
