Abstract
This protocol details the injection parameters of the protein.
Materials
  • Needle 28ga
  • Hamilton syringe
  • Constant pressure syringe pump (Harvard Apparatus, Holliston, MA)
Injection Parameters
Injection Parameters
Stereotaxic coordinates:
Intracortical/Intrastriatal (IC/IS): 2.0 mm lateral from the midline, +0.2 mm relative to bregma, and 0.8 and 2.6 mm deep from the dura.
Brainstem: 0.2 mm lateral from the midline, -7.34 mm from bregma, 3.75 mm deep from the dura.

Injectable:
Amount2.5 µg of total protein in a volume of Amount2.5 µL .

Rate: Amount0.1 µL per minute

Needle: 28 ga needle attached via tubing to a Hamilton syringe controlled by a constant pressure syringe pump (Harvard Apparatus, Holliston, MA).
