Add 125 mL of deionized water to a 250 mL Erlenmeyer Flask.
Add 3.125 g of LB Broth powder (25 g per 1 L of water) to the water in the Erlenmeyer Flask.
Add 1.875 g of agar to the water ( 1.5% of 125 mL ) in the Erlenmeyer Flask.
Stir on stirring plate for 00:05:00 .

Cover the opening of the Erlenmeyer Flask with aluminum foil.
Place a 10 mm strip of autoclave tape on the aluminum covering the opening of the flask.
