This research employs a mixed-methods approach to investigate the long-term socio-economic benefits of investing in sustainable tourism infrastructure and practices in Moorea. Data collection methods include structured surveys distributed to local residents and hospitality businesses, in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, and analysis of relevant documents and literature. The collected data will be analyzed using statistical methods for quantitative data and thematic analysis for qualitative data. The expected results aim to provide comprehensive insights into the economic impacts, environmental considerations, and community well-being associated with sustainable tourism in Moorea. Additionally, the findings will contribute to informing policymakers, stakeholders, and the local community about the importance and potential of sustainable tourism development in balancing economic growth with environmental and social sustainability.
