Abstract
This protocol describes the behavioral test to measure food intake in mice.
Habituate mice in single cages 2 days prior the test day.
Fast the mice for 18 hours with access to water.
Using a small weight scale measure food chow and allow ad libitum food intake.
Record food chow weight at 1, 2-, 4-, 6-, and 24-hours post-food chow access.
