Seed HeLa cells in 6-well plates (1 million cells/well)
To induce ER-phagy, wash the cells with PBS first, and then starve the cells for Duration12:00:00 by culturing them in Earle’s balanced salt medium (Cat# E3024, Sigma-Aldrich).

Collect the cells, lyse them in RIPA buffer, and analyze the cells by SDS–PAGE and western blot analysis.
