Abstract
ambrosia beetle rearing

The recipe produces enough medium to fill approximately 36 culture tubes.(12cm)
First, add powder or solid, then add liquid

yeast 8 g
corn starch8 g
casein10 g
agar30 g
sucrose5 g
wheat germ oil2.5 ml
95% ethanol5 ml
redbay sawdust200 g
deionized water580 ml

All ingredients were mixed thoroughly, then put cotton plugs into the mouth of the filled tubes.
The culture tubes was autoclaved at 121 °C for 30 min.
Put culture tubes to dry 2 night in oven.
(cotton plugs don't remove)
