Weigh out an amount of Amount29.22 g of ReagentSodium ChlorideFisher ScientificCatalog #S271 in an appropriate-size beaker or conical flask (1L volume). Add Amount80 mL of ReagentUltraPure Distilled Water Invitrogen - Thermo FisherCatalog #10977-015 .

Precaution: Do not add 100 ml of deionized/Milli-Q water. In most cases, solution volume increases when a large amount of solute is dissolved in a solvent.
Dissolve ReagentSodium ChlorideFisher ScientificCatalog #S271 using a magnetic stirrer or manual shaking with a glass stirring rod.

Tip: You can heat the solution to Temperature60 °C to accelerate the dissolution process.
Transfer the solution to a measuring cylinder or a volumetric flask and adjust the volume to Amount100 mL with ReagentUltraPure Distilled Water Invitrogen - Thermo FisherCatalog #10977-015 . Remix it.
Transfer the solution to an autoclavable bottle and sterilize it by autoclaving Duration00:20:00 at 15 lb/sq.in. (psi) from Temperature121-124 °C on liquid cycle.

Storage: Store the solution at TemperatureRoom temperature .

Tip: NaCl may precipitate with time. Dissolve it by shaking the bottle vigorously.
